Early Childhood (3 - 5 years old)

We know it’s difficult to introduce a child to a new environment with unfamiliar faces. We attempt to make that transition as painless for you and your child as possible.

Each of our rooms has two or more volunteers to oversee and teach your child about the God of the Bible and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our aim to teach the truth of God’s Word in a safe classroom with age appropriate child targeted, multi-sensory curriculum. We use the Hands-On Bible Curriculum by Group Publishing. Each classroom is age divided by the age your child was on September 1st.

• Sunday School ~ 9:30 to 10:45 AM - This hour starts with music on CD and free play. We have a variety of toys, books and manipulatives for the children to use. We then have a lesson from the Bible geared to their understanding, along with a craft that helps drive home the point of the lesson. A take home page for parent reinforcement of the Bible lesson is given to each child weekly. Snacks are provided. Water to drink, vanilla wafers, goldfish crackers, or bunny grahams are provided. Please always advise the volunteers of any allergy or medical condition your child may have.

• Children’s Church ~ 10:45 AM to 12:00 Noon (September-May) - This hour is also geared to a child’s level of understanding. Different curriculum is used so that a child could attend both services without repetition. In addition to what is offered first hour they also have outside playtime on our well equipped playground (weather permitting). Our children enjoy learning through exploration and a variety of methods. Small group interaction is important so our classes have a low teacher/student ratio. As in the entire Children’s Ministry, your child’s security and safety is extremely important to us.
