Sheri Helms - Between Jobs Support

Sheri has served as the Between Jobs Ministry Assistant, Pastoral Care Assistant, and Church Receptionist since March 2005.  As BJM Assistant, she fields inquiries from both job seekers and employers throughout the week, oversees the BJM resource room, and does all it takes to get ready for our weekly meetings.  She also prepares the NWBC Prayer Bulletin, assists the Pastor of Pastoral Care, answers the phone, and greets visitors.  Prior to joining the staff at NWBC, Sheri volunteered in many areas of the church while enjoying her role as a stay-at-home mom.  She has been happy to call NWBC her church home since moving to Spring in 1992.

Sheri grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from Stratton College in Milwaukee.  She is an avid sports fan, and while she'll always be a "Cheesehead" at heart (Go, Pack, Go!), she now enthusiastically supports all her Houston teams (Go, 'Stros!).  She is the proud mother of three children - Shawn, Erin and Jason.
