Home Place Of Texas: A Place To Call Home

Home Place of Texas is a nondenominational, Christian residential community for adults with disabilities. Our purpose is to develop a Christ-centered community for adults with disabilities where they can make a home for themselves apart from their parents or caregivers. Residents work, go to school and church, and volunteer in the community.

The first residence was opened in early 2006. A second home is planned for the summer of 2007. Our plan is to continue to open and operate individual homes until such time as we can build a community that will include homes, dining facilities, a chapel, covered gym, and outdoor activities facilities. This will be a community where residents will work, transportation will be provided, they will continue their education, and recreational activies will be planned.

There is also a weekly Bible study and pizza where both residents and non-residents learn that God loves them just as they are and has a plan for them…a plan for good. We also have a lot fun…Christian concerts, movies, parties, etc.

Home Place of Texas is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions are deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
