As a ministry of NorthWest Bible Church our purpose is to:

• Provide an opportunity for our homeschooled children to interact in a positive way with each other and with the world through various educational and social activities.
• Provide an opportunity for the mothers to encourage one another in our homeschooling endeavors as we strive daily to raise our children to become more Christ-like and to educate them in the Truth.

Membership Requirements

• Payment of Annual Membership Dues. Dues are $20 for the year 2011-2012. This covers the cost of SETHSA membership, postage for mailings, and any other expenses incurred during the year that are not covered by individual members.
• Willingness to serve in the planning or execution of an event or activity during the year. "Now you are the body of Christ and each one of you are a part of it.” 1 Cor 12:27
• An active Email Address – the primary source of communication.

• Monthly Mom’s Meetings or
• Annual Kick Off Party to get the year started
• Annual Share Night to celebrate the end of the year and an opportunity for the children to Share their talents
• Field Trips to various places
• Science Classes at the Houston Museum of Natural Science
• SETHSA monthly Newsletter
• Math Olympiad and Word Master participation
• Coordination of SETHSA Activities
• Annual Stanford Testing
• Mom’s In Touch prayer ministry - currently weekly in the Northampton subdivision
