What does it mean to live a successful life? Is it gaining the most popularity, acquiring the coolest stuff, or even being the best at something? The world measures success and meaning in such terms. However, the Bible takes a very different approach to this concept. In John 10:10 Jesus says, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." We see Jesus saying that true life is not something we can obtain or acquire on our own, but that it can only be found in Him. Therefore, we must SHIFT our view of what it means to live it to the full. This SHIFT is both an invitation and a challenge; an invitation to accept the life that He gives and a challenge to live it out in a world that is against this idea. At SHIFT, students will have the opportunity to SHIFT from life, to life to the full, something only attained by an experience with the living God.
