Parent/Child Procedures
Drop Off
We ask parents to avoid entering the childcare room. The half door
will be open at drop off and pick up. Separation Anxiety is a very
natural thing for the child to go through. Helpful hints for dropping off your child: - Stay calm
- Pick up your children on time
- Avoid long good-byes
- Pass them to the nursery staff
- Reassure them with a
smile
If your child does cry, we will do
everything to calm them and reassure them. The more consistent you are
in bringing your child to church the quicker your child will feel
comfortable in the nursery. Contact System
The Nursery uses a Vibrating Pager System to insure the security and
well being of your child. Pagers are given to the parent when dropping
off children in Rooms 104 to 107. We ask that you please write the
pager number on the child’s name tag and place the pager on your body
where you will feel it vibrate. If your child needs you this is how we
will correspond.
Nursery StaffOur Nursery Staff is trained in Infant and Child CPR and basic first
aid. A criminal background check is done on all our Nursery Workers,
along with an application. Our Nursery Staff wear Smocks so that you
may easily identify them.
